(More customer reviews)This 45-minute tape is more of a warm-up and stretch tape than a conditioning workout. There are some very advanced stretches shown in this tape, so I would only recommend it for someone with a lot of flexibility.
The setting is a little sterile - white walls and carpet - but there is nothing offensive about it. The instructor, Nicole Vass, has a very pleasant manner and an elegant presence.
There are four sections to this floor workout - everything is done seated or lying down so no barre is needed. Section 1 warms up the body, section 2 stretches your turnout/hip joints/muscles, and sections 3/4 emphasizes over-all flexibility.
This tape is a nice supplement to a ballet class or, as the instructor puts it in her beautiful Australian accent, "for the dancer on holiday."
